How we use cookies and your options to control them

1. The Short Version
KTMenu sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or social media trackers. The only thing the site saves in your browser is your theme choice, and only if you use the theme switch.
2. What the Site Stores in Your Browser

Local storage is not a cookie: it stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers.
The admin dashboard also keeps sign-in tokens in local storage. Only our own team signs in, so visitors never receive them.
3. Cookies Set by Other Services
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, may set strictly necessary security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance while it checks traffic for bots. They contain no information about who you are. See Cloudflare's cookie list.
- OpenStreetMap. The map on restaurant pages is loaded from openstreetmap.org, which may set its own cookies. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
- Google Maps sets cookies only if you follow a Directions link to Google Maps.
4. Managing Cookies and Storage
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing KTMenu's site data resets the theme to light.
5. Why There Is No Cookie Banner
Nothing on KTMenu tracks you, and the theme setting is saved only when you ask for it, so there is nothing to consent to. Nepal's Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018) has no separate cookie-banner rule; how we handle personal information is covered by our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we add a service that sets cookies, we will list it here and update the date at the top.
