Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owners. Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called "first-party cookies". Cookies set by parties other than the website you are visiting are called "third-party cookies".
2. Cookies KTMenu Sets
KTMenu currently sets the following first-party cookies:

| theme | 1 year | Remembers your preferred colour scheme (light or dark mode) so it persists across visits. Functional: not strictly essential. |
We do not currently set advertising, retargeting, or behavioural tracking cookies.
3. Third-Party Cookies
KTMenu does not currently load any third-party scripts or services that set cookies (no embedded analytics, social media widgets, or ad networks). If this changes, we will update this section to list the service and its cookies.
4. Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The links below explain how to do this in the most common browsers:
Please be aware that disabling essential cookies (sessionid, csrftoken) will prevent you from logging in to your KTMenu account and managing restaurant listings.
5. Cookie Consent
The essential cookies we set (sessionid and csrftoken) are strictly necessary for the Service to function and do not require your consent under most jurisdictions. The functional theme cookie is set in response to an explicit action you take (toggling the colour scheme).
Nepal's Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018) does not impose a standalone cookie-consent-banner requirement in the way EU law does. Where a cookie collects personal data, our use of it is instead governed by the consent and disclosure obligations described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new features or third-party services that introduce new cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via a notice on the site.
