The Chimney Restaurant
Founded in 1968 by Russian émigré Boris Lissanevitch inside Hotel Yak & Yeti — a building once part of the royal palace — The Chimney is Kathmandu's most historic fine-dining restaurant. Known for Russian Borscht, Chicken Kiev and the theatrical flaming Baked Alaska Sagarmatha.
